Persona 4 Golden, a PlayStation Vita role-playing game from Atlas, can come to PC based on files exposed through a third-party Steam app.
Speculation about the upcoming Steam Persona game began earlier this week when Atlas teased "to share some interesting news at the PC gaming show", which will air on Saturday, June 13.
The website SteamDB has a recent listing that includes Steam icons for Persona 4 Golden, which was discovered and spread throughout Twitter.
Powell Jundak, the developer of SteamDB, said the entry was valid on his Twitter account, writing, "Some information has been received privately, does it really look like P4G? Internet Suites also discovered a support page for Person 4 Golden, which appears to be linked to the anti-piracy software used in PC games, Denovo.
Gaming website Gematso also cited "multiple sources" in a report that said the announcement was made for a PC gaming show, and that its release would follow.
Atlas released Catherine Classic on Steam in 2019, a PC port of the original Catherine for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Persona 4 is located in a small town in Japan, and the player is trapped in a murder mystery where he has to gather allies and plan to move to a new, unrealistic television world. Persona 4 Golden was released in 2012. This is the latest and extended version of the original RPG release.
The Golden Release includes two new social connections and stretched parts of the story, which will allow for some possible twists and different endings of the plot.
