cricket.
Turning to Twitter, the pop star and animal rights campaigner Kaun was
still happy to be released, said an Asian elephant in a critical condition
at the Islamabad Zoo.
Mama Mia Starr, 74, thanked the Pakistani prime minister for his help in
securing Kaun's release.

Last month, a Pakistani court ordered the release of a lone elephant,
which became the subject of a high-profile rights campaign in support of
the American singer.
Cher added a string of emojis to her Twitter account on Thursday, saying
she was 'sick'.
'This is one of the biggest moments of my life,' she said.
Anger over Kaun's treatment at the zoo in the capital, Islamabad, spread
globally several years ago after a request was revealed that she had
received more than 200,000 signatures.
The Islamabad High Court has ordered wildlife officials to find a
suitable safe haven within 30 days from Sri Lanka, where the Asian
elephant came from.
The court ruled that 'Kaun's pain and suffering should be transferred to
a suitable place for the elephants, in the country or abroad.' The court
ruled that the zoo had failed to meet the needs of animals for the past
three decades.
The court has also ordered the temporary relocation of dozens of other
animals, including brown bears, lions, and birds, while the zoo is
improving its quality.
