After the tragic death of the actor, the rumored girlfriend of the late Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty, was summoned for questioning on Thursday.
According to reports, Rhea arrived at the Bandra police station in Mumbai earlier this week to record her statement after her boyfriend was found hanging from the roof of his residence on Sunday.
According to Pankuela, all those who have been in contact with the star for the past 10 days will be called to the station to record their statements.
Earlier on Wednesday, Mukesh Chhabra, who is directing Sushant's upcoming film Dil Bechara, was also summoned for questioning.
Sources claimed with reference to the report that the people with whom they were in touch were being called after finding some traces of communication on their cell phones.
In addition, the police will investigate the angle of animosity between Sushant and other insiders of the industry to determine the cause of his suicide.
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. It is said that the actor was suffering from depression and was undergoing treatment for it. The matter is currently being investigated by the Mumbai Police.
