Legendary Pakistani Actress Sabiha Khanum passed away on June 13, 2020, at the age of 84, according to an announcement on social media by her granddaughter.
'It is with great sadness that we share the news of the demise of our beautiful and beloved Sabiha Raza (Sabiha Khanum) who passed away today, June 2020' Suresh Khan wrote In a heartfelt post on Facebook,
'She returned to Allah (SAW) very peacefully and in her last moments she was surrounded by her dear close family. We know that she was liked by many people and we received many messages and calls.'
she appealed to everyone to be patient and so that they could mourn the loss of their loved one.
'We ask you to be patient with us as we are saddened by the loss and all of you have the answer. We do not humbly request you to go home in person for our safety and security.'
The cause of death has not been confirmed.
Sabiha Khanum was known as the Silver Screen of Pakistan's First Lady. Some of her best films were Ayaz (1960), Sat Lakh (1957), Kaneez (1965), Anjuman (1970) and Tehzeeb (1971).
she was also awarded the Pride of Performance in 1986 for her contribution to Pakistan's film industry.
