Pakistan army media wing (ISPR) said in a statement on Friday that Pakistan had shot down the eighth spy quadcopter sent from India across the Line of Control (LoC).
'Pakistan Army troops shot down an Indian spy quadcopter in the Khanjar Sector along with the LOC.' said Major General Babar Iftikhar Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)
Major General Iftikhar added that the quadcopter had entered the LOC towards Pakistan at a distance of 500 meters.
Earlier this week, the DG ISPR warned India that Pakistan would respond with full force to any wrongdoing and "should not play with fire".
Speaking on Geo News' Capital Talk program, Major General Iftikhar had said that Pakistan was ready for any military adventure and its "uncontrollable and unintentional consequences" would be revealed.
A military spokesman said the Pakistani military's ability to respond was demonstrated last year. He warned India not to play with fire.

Major General Iftikhar had also said that Indian spy quadcopters had violated Pakistani airspace several times and had been shot dead in recent days.
On May 29, the Pakistani military shot down another Indian spy quadcopter that had violated Pakistani airspace from the Kunzluwan sector along the LoC - the second drone shot down this week.
On May 27, the army shot down an Indian surveillance drone crossing the LoC in the Chakri sector.
