Pakistani Celebrities Discuss about Mental Health on Social Media, after Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died of suicide on Sunday afternoon. The 34-year-old 'Kedar Nath' star was found hanging at his Bandra residence in Mumbai.

According to The Economic Times, Sushant was living in his apartment with his cook and two friends, according to reports from the city's ongoing police investigation.

He spoke to his sister on the telephone around 9 a.m., an hour later he took a glass of juice and took his pills. Then, around 11:30 a.m., the cook knocked on his door to confirm the day's menu. But to no avail, his friends called a locksmith that helped open the door.

Only to find his body inside and they immediately called the actor's sister and the police.

According to initial reports, Sushant had been suffering from depression for the past six months. His friends also believe that the reason behind his suicide was depression. The actor's former manager Disha Salian also committed suicide a few days ago.

In 2017, Sushant criticized the notion of being free from the mental and emotional struggle of believing actors because of their fame, wealth, and success.

Now Bollywood and Pakistani celebrities are using their social media platforms to raise awareness about mental health. Sushant's death sparked a much-needed conversation that has been the subject of repeated negative news these days.
