On Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan took to Twitter to offer help to
the Indian government in providing aid to their poor families.
On social media website Twitter, Imran Khan tweeted that about 34% of
households across India would not be able to survive for more than a week
without help.

According to the report he cited by news website Express Tribune, about 84% of households in India have seen a
decline in their income since the coronavirus lockdown. Nearly one-third
of all households will not survive a week without additional support.
The Government of India has announced three rounds of stimulus programs worth about Rs21 trillion ($266 billion). And Prime Minister Imran Khan has offered to share Pakistan's Ehsaas program with India to help distributing relief.
The Ehsaas Program, an extension of the Benazir Income Support Program infrastructure, the scale, and work of which was increased during the tenure of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to provide one hundred billion rupees to millions of beneficiaries across the country during the PTI regime, with each family. One lakh rupees were received.
As of last week, approximately Rs 117.49 billion has been successfully
distributed to 96.63 million households across the country, according to
Ehsaas officials and further cash disbursements are underway under this
program.
The program has been praised by the World Bank, which has seen it play a
key role in reducing the economic impact of coronavirus epidemics.
