It has been rumored for a while but eventually, it seems that WhatsApp is
ready to introduce the ability to use your same account on multiple devices.
Currently, the WhatsApp only allows one device to sign up for an account.
So if a user has to sign in to their WhatsApp account on a new smartphone,
the old one is automatically disconnected.
There is a lot of speculation about when this important upgrade will
come, but according to the latest information from WABetainfo, it may come
in the next few months.
In a tweet, WABetainfo said: "From now on, WhatsApp is launching some
important tests internally for the multi-device feature." The option to use the app on different devices is that it has been wanted by a host of fans for years.

It's not available yet and there isn't a release date: it could be next two months, four months, six months 🤷🏻♂️.. but it's really positive that they have started to test it on the whole.

There is no word on how this update will work, but it could mean that
WhatsApp is finally ready to launch a dedicated iPad app.
At the moment, the only way to use the WhatsApp on your iPad is to pair it with the iPhone and launch a chat service on your browser. Not ideal
According to WABetaInfo, the next version of the WhatsApp will give each
user a "device list" that, by name, will show every phone or tablet that
has been synced with a particular WhatsApp account.
