On Monday, Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.
According to details, the minister has separated himself for 14 days.
Earlier today, former prime minister and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi also contracted the virus.
In Pakistan, on the other hand, one lakh marks have been passed in COVID-19 as 103,671 people have been infected with the epidemic. In one day, 65 more deaths were confirmed in the country and the number of deaths across the country rose to 2,067.
According to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 4,728 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours.
So far 38,903 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 38,108 in Sindh, 13,487 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6,516 in Balochistan, 5,329 in Islamabad, 932 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 396 in Azad Kashmir. Cases have been confirmed.
In addition, 715 people have succumbed to epidemics in Punjab, 650 in Punjab, 575 in Sindh, 54 in Balochistan, 52 in Islamabad, 13 in GB and 8 in Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan has so far conducted 705,833 coronavirus tests and 22,650 tests in the last 24 hours. A total of 34,355 patients have been cured of coronavirus in the country while the condition of several is critical.
