Sources said that two top PTI leaders, whose story Fawad narrated the
infiltration of the party met the Prime Minister on Wednesday and
pressured him to resign from Chaudhry.
'From Fawad Chaudhry's interview, it seemed like we were behind our
      failures.'
The two leaders expressed displeasure with Chaudhry, saying that the
impression was being given that the PTI government was failing because of
      him.
He said that he did not conspire against Jahangir Tareen, warning the
Prime Minister that if no action was taken against Fawad Chaudhry, she
would give the impression of weakness.
Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that politics is not for the
faint-hearted, as long as he has confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan,
he will perform his duties as a minister.
He was replying to Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan,
who had asked him to resign.
'As long as I do not have the confidence of Prime Minister Imran Khan, I
will remain as a minister,' he said. The tweet came after the demand for
Chaudhry's resignation gained momentum on Thursday.

Najib Haroon surpassed the statement of Federal Minister for Science and
Technology Fawad Chaudhry regarding the party feud with Shah Mehmood
Qureshi, Asad Umar, and Jahangir Tareen.
Talking to media, Haroon said that Chaudhry has been with the government
since day one and he has better information.
'I am sure what Fawad Chaudhry is saying is correct,' Najib said.
He further said that Chaudhry was at the forefront of party affairs from
the very beginning, therefore, he comes from the position of knowledge.
Expressing hope, the PTI leader said, 'The party is because of PM Khan. People have expectations from Imran Khan.'
On Sunday, Chaudhry said the battle between Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood
Qureshi, Planning Minister Asad Umar, and PTI leader Jahangir Tareen had
hosted a negative effect on the party and is the reason why the Prime Minister
Imran Khan's vision is not going as previously planned.
'There were a lot of expectations from PTI and Imran Khan,' Chaudhry told
VOA's Sohail Warraich. The people chose us or the Prime Minister not to fix the nuts and bolts but to reform the system.
Chaudhry said that when the government was formed, problems arose and differences between Omar, Tareen, and Qureshi increased. 'These
differences have taken the entire political class out of the game
      altogether.'
